Gordon Lightfoot and the Beach Boys laid the foundation, but encountering Joni Mitchell at 15—now that’s a revelation. Her lyricism, intricate melodies, and sheer emotional depth have a way of reshaping how a person thinks about vulnerability and storytelling.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Breaking into the music industry is tough with so much great work out there. Coming from a small town and balancing life as a single mom makes growing my career even harder. With my debut album just released, I want to reach more listeners and share my passion. I’m incredibly proud of this project.
What would you do with $50,000?
My next album is ready to record, so I'd choose a dream producer and have the budget to hire a team for promotion. I'd also love to take my daughter and mom on a getaway—Costa Rica, if possible. What a dream!
