Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My inspirations span all the way back from Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye and Earth Wind and Fire, all the way to newer artists like Beyoncé, Sza, and Tyla. There are too many to name, but every artists offers some sort of inspiration to me in some way.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizens Festival would widen the positive, soulful impact I have on listeners and audiences. Success would be a byproduct of the beautiful experience all attendees would have at the festival if I were to be a part. I would be extremely grateful for this opportunity because it would take me to a newer heights in my career- musically, emotionally, socially, and financially.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would invest it in 4 ways. The first investment would be in a music studio space, so that I could create without boundaries or interruptions. Then, I would invest in a stage setup for live performances, as well as back line and instruments for my band. Next, I would invest in the marketing and promotion of upcoming projects, as well as creating the content for them (music videos, photoshoots, social media campaigns, etc). Lastly, I would invest in a solid team to assist me long term.
