Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration comes from my life experiences and the incredible range of music I grew up with. Being raised in Ontario with both Jamaican and Canadian roots gave me a rich blend of cultural and musical influences. I’ve always been moved by the storytelling and soul of artists like Bob Marley and the Wailers, Elton John, and Prince—those legends really helped shape my sound. How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a dream and a huge milestone in my journey as an artist. It’s more than just a stage—it’s a platform that brings together people who believe in using music and culture to drive real change. As someone who aims to create music that uplifts, unites, and sparks connection, being part of that message would be deeply meaningful.
What would you do with $50,000?
If I were awarded the $50,000, I would use it to take my music to the next level—creatively, professionally, and purposefully. I’d invest in recording and producing a full-length project that brings together the different parts of my sound, from reggae and rock to blues and dance-pop. High-quality production, mixing, and mastering are essential for sharing my music with the world the way it’s meant to be heard. I'd also dedicate part of the funds to support youth music programs
