Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration is Bob Dylan. I love his songs so so so much. His use of simple chords and most importantly, lyrics, constantly prove to me that technical ability is not always what matters. What matters most is the emotion and the soul of a song. That’s what connects to people and makes a piece of art feel human.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would impact my career greatly. I graduate college in three days at the time of writing this and plan on going straight into the work force, so performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be really neat! It’d be great to play my songs in front of a crowd like that and get them out there.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use whatever I need to pay rent, buy food, etc. Then I’d give some away or donate it. I only want to take what I need.
