Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Foo Fighters have been my biggest inspiration since I was a kid. I love their huge rock sound. I was also introduced to a lot of classic rock as a kid, so artists like Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Nicks, Tom Petty, and Pat Benatar are also big influences on my sound.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
To perform in front a huge crowd like that would be such a thrill for me. I know I belong on stage, and it would be so validating to have that opportunity. Also, being apart of a festival that is helping to defeat poverty, a very important cause, is a cherry on top.
What would you do with $50,000?
I'd be able to put together another album, and really get the production right. I'd also be able to get back out on the road and tour with my band, which is really where I'm happiest and shine the brightest. I want to bring my music to the fans!
