Who or what is your musical inspiration?
God and the younger generation are both what continues to inspire my expression through singing. Realizing the influence music has over the youth, it’s my responsibility to inject positivity&love, with grace to ensure certain values& morals aren’t lost as a society. Being able to display strength and perseverance while being true to self will bring hope and ingenuity that can grow the future leaders of musicians. I want to make God proud.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Securing the right forms of exposure is imperative and often determines the trajectory of one’s career. The GCF would be an opportunity of a lifetime by connecting me with all walks of life& cultures, resulting in growth of my fan base. Invest! To be able to transition from digging to scooping is life altering! An increase of resources would allow me to have access to better quality mixes &afford live bands that would take my performances up a notch. I would also be able to provide supporters with top tier merch/products w/o having to struggle& scuffle to make ends meet.
