Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration contains influences from all kinds of music and artists from around the world. My biggest influence is Junoon and how they did a fusion of western and eastern music and using Sufi poetry and making it accessible to listeners all over the world. Other influences are Coldplay, Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, nusrat fateh ali khan, the Beatles, Jeff Buckley, etc..
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the global citizen festival would greatly impact my career because it’s a wonderful platform which is attended by so many music lovers and I feel my music would give a new taste and flavor to the listeners and spread the message of unity and love.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use the money to create more music and content to share with the world and hopefully play this music with audiences all over the globe. I’d also like to build a studio and give other musicians opportunities aswell. I would also use the money to help the most needy and less fortunate in the world and give them hope.
