Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I find inspiration in people around me, their kindness, their strength, their love for their community… I remember the first time I felt inspired to become a singer. I was watching Jennifer Lopez' first concert. Later on, I would discover a multitude of other artists whose music and vision have shaped my artistry.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would allow me to share my artistic vision with industry professionals with whom I could collaborate. I would gain exposure to a global audience and more people would fall in love with my music. It would be tremendously enriching and fun.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would fund my debut album to promote my Haitian heritage globally, mostly through Haitian Konpa music, and I would donate to a struggling artist.
