Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration comes from icons like Earth, Wind & Fire, Rick James, Janelle Monáe, Bruno Mars, Sheila E., Prince, and Beyoncé—artists who embody funk, soul, power, and purpose. My time in the World Famed Tiger Marching Band at Grambling State fueled my passion and precision. But most of all, I’m inspired by the communities I serve. Music is my ministry—it heals, unites, and uplifts. That’s the rhythm that keeps me moving.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a dream come true and a huge step in my career. It would give me the chance to share my music and message on a global stage, inspiring change and unity. As an artist and founder of *Feeding the Beat*, I believe in using music to heal, empower, and uplift. This opportunity would not only grow my platform but also help me impact more lives through the harmony of music and service.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000, my band and I would fund our creative projects, produce more powerful content, and upgrade our equipment to enhance our sound. We’d also host live shows that double as community givebacks through *Feeding the Beat*. This funding would help us create music that inspires while serving others—through food drives, youth workshops, and outreach events. It’s not just about performing—it’s about using our platform to uplift and empower.
