Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Shore Pines is inspired by classic singers such as Patsy Cline, jazz icons like Chet Baker, and indie rock genre shapers such as St. Vincent and Death Cab for Cutie. Shore Pines looks to all these decades and genres when songwriting. We work diligently to craft a sound that is dense, melodic, and wholly unique.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Every single audience member we’ve ever played for has reported back how much they love our music, how they can’t wait to go home and listen to us after discovering us. It’s been a slow and steady journey of diligently promoting and sharing our music to more and more fans. To be heard by a potential audience of thousands of people would allow us to gain enough traction to record a second album, to be considered for press and music reviews, and most importantly to attract a bran
What would you do with $50,000?
Record & promote our next record! $10,000 would go towards our next album: $2000 towards studio fees, $3000 towards engineering and mastering, and $5000 towards promotion and distribution (digital and vinyl). We would use another $20,000 towards marketing and promotion—specifically to film 2-3 more high-fidelity music videos, do 2-3 editorial/press ready photoshoots, and apply $10,000 towards a PR specialist for 2 months to help us craft a release strategy for the second album.
