Simply put, we like our songs. The 3 of us have such different musical backgrounds and yet this project has created a sound we all enjoy.

Who or what is your musical inspiration?
We inspire each other for the most part, having music tastes ranging from Shellac, Bon Iver, bôa, Polkadot Stingray, Death Grips and more. We sort of just pull from everywhere, the sound is very organic, we write music that we would enjoy listening to.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Who knows? It would be a new and fun opportunity for us and also give us the chance to highlight the greatness of the overall Richmond music scene to a lot of new people, help some of our local friends get some new members of their audience too. The publicity would be pretty cool though, but the coolest part would be a bunch of new people hearing our music, that’s the stuff of dreams.
What would you do with $50,000?
Help the band prosper, obviously purchase some solid equipment like new guitar pedals or other neat stuff to assist our sound. But honestly we’d only need about $5,000 to do that to our hearts content. As for the rest, we’d probably save whatever’s left after putting about $10,000 towards a marine conservation nonprofit like the Loggerhead Marine Life center in West Palm Beach, FL.
