Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration comes from knowing that music creates the culture, “Life imitates art” and “Monkey see Monkey Do” has nothing to do with monkeys. We all know It means human see human do. So I feel a great responsibility to be a POSITIVE influence on the world through my music.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I told my Mom “when I get famous I’m going to buy you a mansion”. With a strange look on her face she said, “famous, you’re already famous they just don’t know it yet”. My Mom passed away in 2015 so I won’t be able to purchase the mansion but what performing at this event will do is prove my mom right by introducing me and my music to the world.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use to kick off a long awaited “Save Our Future tour” across America. The tour will raise money and attract sponsors so we can provide inner city students with computers and supplies to give them an education closer to what suburban school students receive. With the right funding we can even add the trades such as auto mechanics, carpentry etc. back to their curriculum
