Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I listen to all of the greats, from genres like Hip hop, Rnb, Jazz and soul. While mainly sticking to my Caribbean and afro roots I’m a blend of all the sounds that trigger me. My main inspiration these days is listening to other artists and experiencing their range of creativity. I think it’s so interesting how we can all uniquely express ourselves.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
This will be a major step life. Such opportunity to perform my music is life changing. It will be an opportunity to not only let people know who I am, but to relate to the ones who like my music. Like I said, it is a language after all . If I can relate, I will be further engaged. The goal is always to connect
What would you do with $50,000?
I will not only pay my mother medical bills from a stroke she suffered a year ago. But use the rest to continue the journey one day at a time with purpose.
