Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I have so many inspirations! Locally, drummers Rick Henson & Sean Page are on the top of the list. As far as national artists go, I'm influenced by drummers ranging from John Bonham (Led Zeppelin) to John Otto (Limp Bizkit). I'm also influenced by Gene Krupa, Rob Bourdon, Jimi Hendrix, Mac Miller, Ginger Baker, Ringo Starr, Kurt Cobain and so many others! My favorite bands are Unwritten Law, Sublime, Pink Floyd, Wu Tang Clan, Dirty Heads, Dark Lotus, and everything in Between.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would change my career. I have worked with artists such as mc chris, Lex The Hex Master, and all kinds of local artists. I have opened for Saving Abel, Moonshine Bandits, Struggle Jennings (Waylon Jenning's grandson), Sam Grow, Demun Jones, The Last Revel, Alison Iraheta & Halo Circus (American Idol), Creed Fisher, and so many others! I've worked to make the connections, I just need help getting to the next level, and this could be my chance!
What would you do with $50,000?
If I won and got $50,000, I would use most of it to better my families' lives. I would use it as a down payment on a house for us.
