Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My inspiration comes from my uncle. He was one of the most talented individuals on the guitar. He would make up his own rifts and it was magical. When he passed I made a promise to carry on his talents in my own way. Music has always been with me since I was young. I am inspired by how it can bring together such diverse groups of people to experience art.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at this festival would finally show the world how ready I am to be heard. I would be able to showcase my talents on a stage that I know I am destined for. This would also open my eyes to what it is like to be a mainstream artist and teach me what I may not know.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would give half to my mother. No questions asked. Without her I would not be where I am today. She has sacrificed so much for me and my brother and my music career. She pushes me to follow my own path and chase my own dreams. The other half I would invest in myself. Aquire new opportunities through music and networking as well as equipment for myself to further my sound.
