Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration comes from the need to process emotion. Both the highs and the lows. Music helps me make sense of what I’m feeling, and I hope my songs do the same for others. I love the process of writing; it’s where I feel most free and connected to myself. Even if I’m not writing from a personal experience or pov. It’s the process of writing and taking yourself through that to get the final product. Writing music is something I can truly call my own.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a turning point in my career. It would give me a platform to share my music and, connecting me with a wider audience. As a small independent artist it would be amazing to play my songs to that many people. Currently my first single has 3,000 streams and I’m so proud of that. But this experience would open doors to new opportunities.
What would you do with $50,000?
If I won the $50,000, I’d invest it directly into my music and career. Examples being like funding studio time, visuals, and marketing to reach a wider audience. I’d also use it to collaborate and build a stronger team around me. Most importantly, I’d use it to keep growing as an artist and create music that reflects my journey and inspires others.
