Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My grandfather got me into music at a young age. From playing country on guitar to bumping Mac Miller in my teens who still is my favorite artist. My grandmothers dying wish was for me to never give up on my music. My grandparents raised me so I hope to make them proud in heaven.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Give me the exposure I need to connect to people. My music is shared among the people I know and memorized word for word at my shows. I do hip hop, from the soul. From someone who has been through the dark and now wants to be a light for others.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would strictly invest it into my music. I have 100s of songs waiting to record. I could buy the beats, pay for studio time. Crest my own studio, get a good computer and programs. A nice camera. Some music videos. And I would host local hip hop events that allows other artists to come on the stage and have a platform and something to keep out of trouble for. Hope for music in my community and everywhere is my goal. Music can connect us all.
