Who or what is your musical inspiration?
We take inspiration from great storytellers like Ghost, Slipknot, and Alice Cooper, as well as Hatebreed’s passion for mental health awareness. We take musical inspiration from the likes of Deftones, Radiohead, and Chevelle.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
This performance would give us the capability to share our message with all those who don’t have someone in their corner. Our message is one of love and overcoming, and being able to perform for the biggest crowd would let us spread the most amount of love possible. That’s what matters most with music, and that’s what we will always strive for.
What would you do with $50,000?
A portion of the prize money would get donated to bettering mental health and suicide awareness, causes very close to all of us. We would use the rest of it to reinvest into the band to continue producing high quality music and media to create art for the strangers at the back of the room who don’t feel like they belong.
