Who will perform at the Global Citizen Festival, appear in Rolling Stone, and take home $50,000?
Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My personal musical inspiration for writing and perusing it is Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters and Eddie Van Halen. Seeing what Eddie could do with guitar inspired me to pick it up, while Dave inspired me to become a songwriter and a front man. The story of how both of those bands came from nothing inspires me daily to cross new boundaries and break the glass ceiling in rock and metal music.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
The exposure alone would be huge for us, but we’d just be grateful for the opportunity and excited to see what doors it could possibly open for us.
What would you do with $50,000?
We’d first upgrade our gear and buy a tour ready vehicle. We’re currently touring out of a truck, and always dreamt of buying a new tour van since our last one was T-boned and totaled on our first tour leaving us stranded in LA with no way home.
