Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Beyonce, hands down. She is THEE example. She’s my biggest inspiration because I’ve watched her work so hard since I was a kid to become who she is now, her work ethic impresses me more than anyone. Outside of her, I love The Beatles, Coldplay, No Doubt and Tame Impala.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be a huge launching pad for me. It would be the greatest moment of my life thus far. I would put every ounce of passion I have in my body, into that performance. I truly believe it would be the moment people truly start to notice me.
What would you do with $50,000?
$50,000 would literally be life changing money for me. It would allow me to become debt free and to be able to afford a place so me and my daughter can be together every day again. Right now I’m living with my mom so she’s with her father and she’s unhappy. It’s become my life’s mission to put myself in a better financial position so she and I can live together again.
