Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My bestfriend inspired my musical inspiration. He’s an amazing singer and rapper and seeing him hone in and naturally be able to create art made me want to do the same. But being so musically inclined while I was growing up gave me an edge to create my own unique style that I use to my advantage. I’ve played the cello and I think that plays into how I create my music. Smooth, but I can pop off any time.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing would give me the platform and the opportunity to connect with those around me. Collaboration is better than competition so I would use it to help meet other artists and continue to build my network and gain new fans.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would give half to my parents, because I love them and they’ve made plenty of sacrifices for me and invest the rest into my career. Simple.
