Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration comes from the world around me. In 2018 I lost my father to addiction which flipped my life upside down. The only thing that made sense was to find something true and for me that was the blues. Blues rock and soul music has helped me in so many ways and I want to affect others the same.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the festival would finally give the Stephen Lear band the recognition we deserve. With that kind of recognition we could actually live out our dream to travel and reach new fans with our music.
What would you do with $50,000?
Our big dream is to tour and play our music and having a nice chunk of change would totally change our lives. With that money we can get more promotion, better production and some extra helping hands to put together a road tour for us in the us. Having the 50,000 would give us a real shot at making it here in the states.
