Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’m inspired by the lyrical geniuses I grew up listening to, whether it’s mainstream icons like Lupe Fiasco or underground Asian American hip hop acts like Magnetic North. I have a song called Giants about what it means for me to be an artist, because I wouldn’t be here without the shoulders of the giants I stand on.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at a venue like the Global Citizen Festival would be an absolute game changer. I’ve got over a million views on Reels right now, but this would be like seeing all those eyeballs in person. I’m ready to take my art to the next level.
What would you do with $50,000?
$50,000 is life changing money for me. I can expand my musical horizons with more professional produced projects, invest in the family I want to have one day, and maybe broaden my team to make the possible probable.
