Who or what is your musical inspiration?
We're inspired by artists who get their fans moving and dancing without sacrificing poetry in the lyrics. When we work on our songwriting, we have artists such as DRAMA, Jungle, and Sylvan Esso in mind, although we strive to develop our own sound. As longtime rock musicians, we bring our instrumental chops to our electronic production, both in the studio and on stage. We're also inspired by collaborating with other artists, which we have done through remixes and co-releases.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Our greatest challenge at this stage in our career is getting our music in front of more people. From our first show in May 2023 through several short tours across the country, we have seen fans singing along to our lyrics. We've had organic growth from fans who are invested in our journey sharing our social media posts and new music. This gives us confidence that our music is resonating, but we are longing for a "breakthrough" moment in which we get to share our music with a broader a
What would you do with $50,000?
While this is a fairly new project, we are seasoned musicians, and we know that making great music is only as impactful as the budget to promote it. We both make our living as musicians, which is a blessing but also means our personal resources to fund the marketing for our music is extremely limited. With a $50,000 reward, we would be able to develop a grassroots marketing plan including digital and print ads, social media marketing, street team for live shows, and more.
