Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Man...it's so dense. But ultimately I would have to say from a songwriting perspective it's absolutely Kurt Cobain. He just understood how to write complex songs and execute them into simple pop songs. Oddly enough I would also say Carly Rae Jepsen. I know she's not "rock n roll" or even "cool" but she is absolutely one of the best songwriters of our day. How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be life changing! My music is meant to bring back mainstream rock music. I believe that's a realistic ethos. Think of the music from the early 2000's-mid 2010's. That was rock music that was as big as Beyonce and Taylor Swift. I want my music to introduce playing instruments and making rock to an entirely new generation. Playing for Global Citizen Festival would accomplish this for me!
What would you do with $50,000?
Well, I'm getting married! I want to start my marriage off on the right foot. And i want to create an album. I want my music to create the rock movement I so know that it can. Gen Z and Gen A need guitar and rock heroes. I KNOW i can be that hero for them to take up the guitar again. I just need the right opportunity!
