Who or what is your musical inspiration?
As a family band, our musical inspiration spans generations. Dad (electric banjoist) introduced his 3 sons (lead singer/lead guitarist, bassist and drummer) to his eclectic tastes rooted in the genre-bending music of the Allman Brothers Band and the like. But, the sons have found their own passions (both new and old) and have incorporated those influences into our family band's sound. At home, our biggest influence is not another musician but rather our wife/mom/mamager, who supports us daily.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
We have always only sought the opportunity to share our music with others, whether it be a group of 50 or a packed field in Central Park. Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would completely change our band's trajectory and allow a platform to showcase our ever-growing catalog of original music. We would be honored to share the same stage as other incredible world-renowned artists at this amazing and impactful festival.
What would you do with $50,000?
We are eager to reinvest in ourselves. We proudly spent our own money last year in the professional production of our first original album. We plan to use the $50,000 for our second album and marketing, as we simply need some help getting our music out to the masses. While we are not a pop band, we would love to find a group of like-minded folks that may appreciate our music and share it with others.
