Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Music is just a bunch of nostalgia for me. I grew up listening to all kinds of stuff. Crystal Castles, Lil Peep, Suicideboys, Ghostemane, MGMT, Porter Robinson, Empire of the Sun, Foo Fighters, Triple One, PinkPantheress, Adore, DUCKBOY, Gorillaz, BONES, Kero Kero Bonito, The Police, Whicca Phase Springs Eternal, Horse Head, Post Malone, Grimes, Home, Machine Girl, Bedroom. It all shaped how I hear and feel music now. The emotional stuff, the weird experimental sounds, the classic bands.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the global citizen festival would first of all give me money to get out of renting and get my own house. I would have money to actually do what I want. From the performance I would possibly gain an organic following from people who actually like my art. And hopefully grow from there. I am a single college student renting a private room so doing so would work wonders.
What would you do with $50,000?
Fifty grand would be huge for me as an independent artist. Right now, rent drains everything, and there’s barely enough left to invest in my music. Having that kind of money would mean finally getting out of renting, maybe even getting a basic house—just a stable space to create without distractions. If not, I’d put it straight into better gear, studio time, real collaborations. No more cutting corners, just growing my music the way it deserves. It’s not just money, it&rs
