Were the sign of the times. We represent a generation that doesn’t fit neatly in one box. We’re queer not just in our lives but in our music
Thank you for generously supporting Sweet Myths in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to empower Global Citizen in their mission to eradicate extreme poverty and create a world where everyone has an equal chance to thrive.
Who or what is your musical inspiration?
We have so many inspirations from rock Icons like Radiohead, The Black Keys, and Paramore. Indie darlings like Boy Genius. Jazz players like Coltrane and Mingus. And Amazing players and bands like Pino Palladino, Chris Thile, Rodrigo Amarante, and Chon.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would change our lives. We’re just three people writing songs in our bedrooms hoping that someone will hear and like what we make. To be able to perform on this stage to share apart of ourselves to 60,000 people would be a dream come true.
What would you do with $50,000?
It would go into band investment. To be able to fund and expand our outfit. Hire another person to work and help in our project. To purchase a van or recording spaces to create our own studio/ headquarters of our own.
