We’re America’s Next Top Hitmaker because we’re bringing a raw, high energy to country music that hasn’t been there since the 70s.
Thank you for generously supporting Sweet Nothin's in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to empower Global Citizen in their mission to eradicate extreme poverty and create a world where everyone has an equal chance to thrive.
Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Elvis Presley was my first sort of musical inspiration. I had my mom take me to Graceland when I was in the 2nd grade. Gram Parsons and the Flying Burrito Brothers have been huge inspirations musically lately along with Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Doug Sahm and Hank Williams.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would impact our career greatly. Every time we get in front of a crowd of new faces we make loads of new fans. I think being in front of a festival-sized crowd would do wonders for us. We’re more than ready for it.
What would you do with $50,000?
We would finish our first record and buy a van to start touring on it. Currently we don’t have a car big enough to fit the band and all of our gear, so that’s been a hurdle we’ve been trying to jump through. Having enough money to keep going is the one thing that can make or break your career as a new band.
