Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspirations range from artist like Stevie Wonder, Prince, Eric Benet, Whitney Houston, Tamia, Earth Wind and Fire, Alyson Blaire (my sister), Devilish Skar (my brother), Luther Vandross, Commissioned, Daryl Coley, Hall and Oats, Toni Braxton, Boys II Men, the list goes on and on! My team, The Watchers, Maximus XXI and Unique. Most importantly, my family. My mom was my first musical inspiration and my family gave me the talent and foundation of everything I know musically.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing in the Global Citizen Festival would be life changing. I have been singing all my life in a variety of venues, from theater to television. It's been my dream and it's my passion to perform my music for the world. This will open doors for me and my family as artist to propel us to a global platform and do what we love.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would definitely use $50,000 to help pay off my house and take a much needed long vacation with my husband and our dog Oliva. I would use a lot of it to further invest in my career going forward and help produce other artist that need exposure.
