Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I draw inspiration pretty much from anything. My dad’s passing in 2018 definitely changed the way that I see the world, and you will see a lot of him in my music. People’s struggles, accomplishments, sadness and happiness touch me deeply as I can almost feel the way they feel, and I want to be able to return that through my music, I want to be the voice for those who feel they cannot be heard. My mama’s support also inspires me to be the best that I can be.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Oh, that would definitely be amazing and would allow me to introduce my music to an audience that I did not have before. It is a pretty exciting thought, indeed!
What would you do with $50,000?
Well, my mama takes care of that part, but we would certainly invest in my career with more studio time, collaborations, advertising and marketing, etc. All I want in hand is like $1000 to go treat my besties!
