Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’m inspired by many pop artists that are prominent today, such as, Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, and Lana Del Rey. I draw so many personal connections to their music and these artists are the reason I started writing music in the first place. Listening to their music has been life-altering.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would change the entire direction of my life. As an artist who’s struggling with finding her audience on social media, this would finally give me a chance for my music to be heard. After writing songs for over four years, I’ve finished writing for my first album and would love the opportunity to sign with a record label and record it. Performing at the Global Citizen Festival could totally make this possible.
What would you do with $50,000?
There’s so much I can do with $50,000 and I will add that the money isn’t the most important thing to me for this contest, but I would definitely invest in finding a proper music manager, as well as a social media manager. I’d start building my team, as I’ve learned recently that there are many people behind a single artist. I feel that’s one of the smartest moves.
