Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I draw my greatest inspiration from the divine and the everyday music of nature, finding inspiration in the melody of birds and the creativity of the Great Creator. From the divine nudge towards my first studio visit to recording at the iconic Capitol Records, I cherish each step on the musical path as a moment of divine alignment and inspiration. The accolade of my debut single, Nouri, as a two time Indie Music Channel Award winner, stands as a testament to my artistry and impact.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would expand my reach by amplifying my message of healing and empowerment through music on a global stage. It offers a platform to connect with a diverse, socially conscious audience, build harmonious industry relationships, and touch an abundance of hearts. This moment would not only showcase my artistry in a grand way, but would align my purpose-driven sound with more souls, solidifying my voice as a creative catalyst for wellness.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000, I will create the “Abundabus,” a mobile hub to take my drum circles, Remedy Tour experiences, and healing playshops nationwide. This mobility will allow me to reach more communities, turning parks, gardens, schools, libraries, and community centers into spaces of sound healing, creativity, and connection. My offerings will foster spaces for emotional wellness and unity through immersive experiences that allows guests to feel seen, heard, and inspired.
