Who or what is your musical inspiration?
R&B women from the 90s and early 2000s inspired me and molded the powerful voice that I have. They have all inspired me to manifest on a gift that I’ve shared with thousands of people throughout the US and Caribbean. Also, Calypso Rose from Trinidad inspired me to break barriers of becoming a 7th time Calypso Queen out of the US Virgin Islands. Making history for all Caribbean women who embrace our culture and traditions.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would impact all women that we have a space in these male dominated arenas. I would inspired Caribbean men and women to not limit themselves and showcase with the world that opportunities can be endless if you first believe that you can make it and allow God to do the rest. For where there is a will, there is a way.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use it to collaborate with other artists from throughout the Caribbean who have a passion and drive for empowering future generations of musicians and artists.
