Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration comes from gospel, soul, and classical music. I was raised on the harmonies of church choirs and inspired by legends like Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, and Earth, Wind & Fire. Their sound, style, and storytelling shaped my artistry. I also studied classical voice at Juilliard, which gave me a deep appreciation for technique and emotional expression in music.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would elevate my career by amplifying my voice on a global stage and aligning my artistry with purpose. It’s a chance to reach new audiences, collaborate with like-minded creatives, and use music to inspire change. The platform would not only expand my visibility but also affirm my commitment to using my gift to uplift and unite people worldwide.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000, I’d bring my vision to life by producing music that reflects my journey and values. I’d invest in building my brand—recording, visuals, marketing, and launching a live show series. I’d also grow my business to support other creatives, especially from underrepresented communities, creating space for voices like mine to be seen, heard, and celebrated.
