Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’m grateful that My parents exposed me to various genres of music as a child. The early riveting sounds of gospel music at church, R&b concerts and the roar of Rock music has shaped my inspirations. I began to hear songs as a story so I started writing my own story through song. A few of my influences are Stevie Wonder, Andre Crouch,Whitney Houston, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson,Journey, Bon Jovi, Stevie Nicks.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
By participating in an event focused on ending extreme poverty and advocating for social justice, I will establish myself as an artist who cares about important global issues. This alignment can resonate with an audience who values socially conscious artists like myself, helping to build a loyal fan base.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would save a percentage, pay a few bills, share some with family, invest some back into my career, and of course I would donate a percentage to my top charities Global Citizens being one of them.
