The 77 Apes take inspiration from every period of popular music, and fuse them into something new! 50's rock, Tin Pan Alley, Psychedelia, Punk, Goth, Pop - each has its power, and all are elected in our music!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Being a member of the Global Citizen Festival would be a dream come true for us, and we would pay it forward by playing our hearts out to the audience, our family, friends, and fans, and our fellow musicians. We will live up t the name GLOBAL CITIZEN - our music is for the world.
What would you do with $50,000?
We would put these funds into supporting our band members, making sure that they can keep making music in the face of these financially uncertain times. We would book studio time to put together a new album. And, we would set money aside for music education and support for our local community.
