Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I draw inspiration from Canadian rock legends like the Stampeders, whose raw energy in "Wild Eyes" fuelled the inspiration for my song "Wildfire". I blend Indie rock with heartfelt songs inspired by my life's Joys and struggles as heard in my new album Elixir. Artist like Santana and modern acts like Crown Lands have shaped my storytelling. My fans' stories shared through the Alan Jackson Project drive me to create music that connects emotionally and authentically.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Participating in the Global Citizen Festival would skyrocket The Alan Jackson Project and my career. As a Canadian indie artist, this global stage would amplify my album Elixir to millions, boosting streams globally. Connecting with fans via @TheAlanJacksonProject would deepen with international exposure. The festival’s platform would open doors to collaborations and help me share my Voice and sound worldwide, and provide me with a lasting legacy in music.
What would you do with $50,000?
With the $50,000, I would modestly upgrade my studio software and bring my sound to the next level. I'd also like to create a fund to provide music lessons for kids whose families can't afford them, fostering young talent and promoting this through the Alan Jackson Project. This investment would redefine my legacy, give back, and build a legacy of music and opportunity for the next generation of artists.
