I am legally blind, and thus have a somewhat unique take on music as an art form.
Thank you for generously supporting The Blind Guy in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to empower Global Citizen in their mission to eradicate extreme poverty and create a world where everyone has an equal chance to thrive.
Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I love taking inspiration from my childhood. Old video games, anime, movies, you name it. My biggest inspiration artistically are Porter Robinson, Madeon, and Virtual Riot hands down.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Playing at GCF would completely alter the course of my music career, especially in the wake of building up to my very first album. I would be able to play released (and unreleased ;) ) music to a huge audience. (Not to mention playing on a big stage would be SO COOL)
What would you do with $50,000?
I would help my fiancé’s medical issues, and THEN I would invest into MORE MUSIC SHENANIGANS! Merch, some advertisements, and a music video for my song “How to Say Goodbye”! (ESPECIALLY a music video for How to Say Goodbye)
