Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Growing up in Atlanta and Zambia i have been inspired with both trap and Afro sounds. With that being said sonically we are heavily inspired by Swae Lee, Rema, Young thug and Don toliver. The main reason that inspires us it to be the first Zambian artists to breakthrough and get a chance to really put our country on a Global stage as our Duo the fake have been working on this from high school and now we have graduated with a masters in university but have never quit making music.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Already gaining a following a supporters having 27k followers and reels averaging 100k views on Instagram and generated a music videos that amounted over 50k views. This opportunity will allow us to keep growing as artists and gain global recognition as I truly believe in my heart our music is sooo good. We just do not have the right resources to help and assist us. We are doing everything we can independently but a helping hand like the GCF would be life changing for us and our families
What would you do with $50,000?
As I mentioned one of us are based in Atlanta and the other person in the group is based in Zambia. I would use some of the earnings to help bring my brother I make music with to Altanta to further push our music here together. Most importantly invest it towards releasing more singles, building our brand, and dropping our second body of work which we already have complete but just need the necessary funding
