Who or what is your musical inspiration?
A lot of artist but a few of my current favorites are Bright Eyes, Bob Dylan, Radiohead, John Mayer, Mk. Gee, Dijon, Bob Iver, Carseat Headrest, Everything Everything and Prince. I just want to write great songs.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I would give me a much higher profile and I think more eyes on my lyrics so I can get more of the feed back and interact with various interpretations of my work; which is something that’s very important to me. Not to mention it would be the opportunity of a lifetime and be incredibly fun!
What would you do with $50,000?
I would put it towards recording my first full length album. I’m currently in the process of learning how to produce through recording my first official singles and EP; so with that under my belt I would use the bulk of the money to pay for professional mixing and mastering to make the songs sound the best they could and maybe to also finance an East Coast tour and make some merch/burn some CDs. Since I have my own instruments and distribution already.
