Who or what is your musical inspiration?
The people and experiences that create long lasting memories, good or bad. It allows us to channel those emotions and turn them into music that we love. On a different level we're very inspired by music that we're envious of. The songs we wish we wrote! It inspires us to take our writing to a different level and think differently about how we approach every song. The art of those around you is so important!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I think breing able to be a part of a festival that advocates for critical issues is something so special and powerful within itself. To be able to put your name next to something knowing you're helping people is what i believe music and art in general is all about. The ability to expose our music to thousands of people would obviously be impactful for our band and bring in more opportunities, but to have them also know we stand for a great cause is worth more in the end.
What would you do with $50,000?
Put it back into the music and hopefully create more opportunities such as this one. Being able to put money into the band and have the return be festivals such as this one, or opportunities similar, would not only fulfill our dreams, but do some good in the world.
