Who or what is your musical inspiration?
We had a orange cat get his leg ripped off in a barn cleaner. He was strong and feirce. Would scratch you every time you walked by. But one time I had leather gloves on and wasn't afraid of getting scratched so I just went for it and pet him. That moment changed our lives forever.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
This year I crossed off my bucket list of playing a ticketed show and playing out of state. My next goals are to sing a duet with one of my favorite artists and to play a music festival. I did an open mic a few years ago for a larger crowd and they really enjoyed it. It would be nice to get paid for it and see my name on a poster with other artists!!
What would you do with $50,000?
My wife is an amazing singing and songwriter! I would use it to produce her first album. And donate $5,000 to the Amherst Opera House for renovations. Its an amazing historic building. And a great place to perform.
