Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our music inspiration comes from our struggles living in the DMV area (DC, Maryland, Virginia) truefuly, we inspire each other as we balance our talent, commitment and long time friendship in the local music scene here in the DMV. As a group of musicians, rappers, singers, DJ's, and producers. we strive to work together during this journey, and collectively create not only music, but an opportunity for our families and our city. To show, The Mids is not just a music group, but a movement.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would not only make a tremendous impact for The Mids, but for our city. We come from a city based from live music and entertainment known as Go-Go music. stage performance is a second hand nature for The Mids, and we can wait to show, GCF what we can do.
What would you do with $50,000?
To be honest, 50,000 not only help the financial state of our group, but it can definitely help our city. We would like to give back to our hometown, and create a small festival of our own for our city. to raised money for the misfortunate people back at home, that struggle to provide for themselves and their families. the homeless rate is very big in our area. As well as, poverty stricken families that can't afford, public housing or food for there love ones.
