Who or what is your musical inspiration?
The Nude sound is heavily influenced by a wide range of music, from black metal and underground hardcore to pop and jazz. Luke calls out artists as varied as James Brown, Bee Gees, Phil Anselmo and Warrel Dane, Frank Sinatra, Franco Corelli and Corpsegrinder, and Brad Mehldau and Keith Jarrett.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing here gives the Nude the chance to reach people who may not have discovered us plus networking opportunities with performers, industry professionals, press which would open doors for future gig, representation and collaboration. Importantly being selected for the festival signals professionalism and quality of the music to fans , venues and agents... we can then use the content for promotion of audience rection etc.
What would you do with $50,000?
Immediately pay a portion back to the investors! Invest in another album- we have 5 new songs already plus mixing etc, fund a professional marketing program, upgrade gear and live set up and plan a national tour to expand base
