Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Everytime I pick up my pen to write a new song, I’m always inspired by the essence of Drake. As a female artist, I try to embody his lyrical abilities, his catchy cadences & top tier beat selection in my own music. Outside of my musical influences, I am inspired by the world that surrounds me daily. All of my experiences, heartache, mistrials, pain & trauma consistently inspire me to create my music.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival will finally allow me a bigger stage and a bigger opportunity to finally be heard by individuals I feel value the art. For so many years, that’s all I’ve ever wanted was the opportunity to showcase myself and my music in front of those who would welcome me. I want to earn new supporters and gain new fans. I want to know what that feeling is like again performing in front of hundreds or even thousands of people.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000, I would finally invest in my home studio so that I can continue to create even when I can’t afford studio time. I would finally be able to invest into my entertainment label and increase our marketing budget. I would like to take a much needed vacation so I can broaden my horizons and make music that is influenced by new environments.
