Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I grew up in the south, so I was raised listening to oldies like the Ojays, Curtis Mayfield, Willie Hutch, The Temptations, Frankie Beverly and Maze, Johnny Taylor, and Bobby Womack and of course Michael Jackson. when I first began writing music my inspiration was to get my mother and I out of the hood, but when she passed in 2020 due to covid I repurposed my music to make her proud.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival will give me the platform I need to let everyone hear my music. and allow me To make my mark and make my family proud.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use it to start and open a music educational facility for the youth. So that upcoming generations can be influenced by and learn more about0 the great artist of our past, and also learn about the recording arts.
