Thank you for generously supporting The Skulk (band) in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to empower Global Citizen in their mission to eradicate extreme poverty and create a world where everyone has an equal chance to thrive.
Who or what is your musical inspiration?
The Fox musical family is an influence. Our father/grandfather, Gary Fox Sr is 82 years old and plays piano and writes/sings his own songs. His uncle, Buster Fox, had a 20 piece Big Band in CT that played original music in the 1940's. Our musical heroes are Stevie Wonder, Rage Against the Machine, Jimi Hendrix, Mac Miller, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Prince and Vulfpeck.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
We would love the opportunity to play in front of a large crowd in NYC so that we can grow our following and gain experience performing on a big stage. We have a chemistry in our band that people can see, feel and enjoy when we perform. The Skulk delivers.
What would you do with $50,000?
We would use the money to buy audio and video equipment to help us create our vision and promote our band.
