Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Everyone in the group has different inspirations, so you get an interesting blend of sounds; we've got fans of Tool, Mastodon, Avenged Sevenfold, Opeth, but also members who listen to jazz fusion, indie, pop, and other styles. We're a diverse group, which makes our sound so unique.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
We are definitely a group of change champions, and being able to perform at this festival would not only support the band in sharing our music with a larger audience, but would also allow us to perform with a platform directly to potential fans - people who are looking for change in the world. We stand by the values of the festival, and feel that it would be a venue suited to the band's personal values.
What would you do with $50,000?
The band would use these funds to support a new EP and a tour to go along with it; we've played within our home province, but would be excited to get on the road and expose more folks to our music. We're a group of young musicians, and we'd use this money to get a jumpstart into living our dream of music being our career.
