Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My biggest inspiration is life and the emotions I’m feeling at any given moment in time, which I then try to express through my fingers, words and voice.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I imagine it would put my music and personality in the ears of a lot of people who have never heard my work before, and I believe it would put a big smile on their faces and they would tell their friends and their friends would tell their friends and that would be great for my career and in turn I would use that platform to better the world.
What would you do with $50,000?
Given that I’ve been blessed in life and have the ability to record music on my own at home with instruments that I love, I would love to donate the $50,000 to various causes that are near and dear to my heart, like Mutual Aid societies, victims of sexual abuse, LGBTQ organizations, etc. They need more help right now than I do.
